Our condolences to the family. I had several conversations with Irene in early October, when my Mom passed. We talked of the times our families got together while on the farm and the times when Ann stayed with you in the winter. She was a great lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

Auntie Irene was our last living aunt and was very special to us. She flew from Saskatchewan to B.C. At the age of 89 to be with us when our Mother (Viola Marguerite)
Ellingsen (nee Pennell) died at the age of 90. She would sit and play the piano As a comfort for us.
Auntie Irene had a cheerful, positive, upbeat personality, yet she had a real burden for
Lost souls in a World that seems to be filled with increasing violence. She was a prayer warrior and was faithful to The Lord until the end of her life here on earth.
She took an interest in our lives and was quick to ask about our families calling them by name! She was so interesting to talk to and had a keen knowledge of the farming life and understood the "ups and Downs" Of it all
We will miss her Christmas Card or phone call this year as she will be spending her 1st Christmas in Heaven. We look forward to a wonderful reunion some day when this life is Ore. She has entered into her "Rest"
Our condolence to the family of Irene
Love Carolyn, Eric, Margaret and Earl and Families.

My husband Chris and I are very sorry to hear of Auntie Irene's passing. Though I didn't know her very well she was always very kind to me when we did meet. It's sad to see the passing of a whole generation of a family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
