I first met Elizabeth about 2 years ago in the hallways at Sherbrooke. I was introduced to her by my Mom’s Physiotherapist Dorothy, as I was helping out with Mom’s wheelchair physio-therapy. Dorothy would often drive Elizabeth home from Sherbrooke as they both lived in the same complex.
Upon hearing her last name I discovered her husband & I had worked together over 30 years previous at Uranerz. While Heinz was not my immediate supervisor I had the opportunity of working in the same department. I always wished Heinz were my boss back then - he was kind, funny, a hard worker, easygoing, fair & just great to be around.
When I mentioned this to Elizabeth she immediately explained everything to Heinz.
Upon introducing her & Heinz to my Mom - I was thrilled she took special care to memorize our names. We often met in the hallways or at gatherings near the fireplace as I am at Sherbrooke often. Our encounters became very comfortable & we always chatted - the 4 of us. Some days my Mom & Heinz had good days & sometimes not so good. Elizabeth was always friendly & always took the time to speak directly to Mom as well as myself. I was amazed at her energy & her enthusiasm in caring for Heinz.
I know she was very excited for her recent trip to visit family in the Maritimes. I was extremely saddened to hear of her death & already miss her sunny presence a lot. Her vibrancy & joy in life as well as her dedication to Heinz will always be an inspiration to me.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to have made her acquaintance & to have shared a bit of her life. She was an amazing women to say the very least!
My sincerest condolences go out to her entire family.

Since I best know Linda (and Hans a little), I direct my thoughts to them as wonderful human beings that I have come to know and appreciate. Since mostly knowing Linda, I offer to her for their family my very kind, gentle, and grateful energies for knowing the family and their special place in this Universe. Linda has been extremely supportive to me under similar circumstances, so I bow before you and send my blessings.
