He was my Grandmother's, Mother's and my family doctor for 30 years. What a kind, generous, funny and beautiful soul. Our condolences to his family and friends. He is at peace now.

I had the pleasure of getting to know laurie as I was a patient of his at Acadia medical clinic for at least 15 years. Laurie was a great doctor that I will always remember. We had so many conversations about day to day life that I will never forget. It is with great sadness that I find out that he lost his battle to cancer. I didn't get the chance to say good bye to laurie when he left his practice so I find it fitting to write this message to you his family. My condolences in the loss of such a great man.

Dear Colleen, Alyssa, and Nicholas.
Joanne and I were so saddened to hear of Dr. Laurie's passing. His kind and caring personality made hime a most remarkable physician. He always had everyone's best interests at heart. He always took the time to greet and talk to everyone. His compassion will always remain with us. We know his worldly battle may be over, but he is still caring and watching out for all of you and us from beyond. We miss him. God Bless and Prayers.

We are saddened to learn of Laurie's battle ending so soon. He was a wonderful part of our healthcare system and will be sadly missed, not only by our family who all saw him at one time or another, but the Saskatoon community. He was a caring and compassionate physician. He is caring from afar now with a warm smile.

Colleen,
My deepest sympathies on the death of Sweep. Seeing the news in the paper brought back many fond memories of university days with the two of you. It is hard to believe we live in the same city and never cross paths. My prayers are with you at this sad time.
