We are so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. We enjoyed the friendly waves and greetings when Randy walked past our house or when we met the two of you going for a walk in Borden.

I had the true pleasure of getting to know Randy while I worked at Redline Harley-Davidson and was fortunate enough for Randy to share with me the experience of getting a new motorcycle a few years back. He was a gentleman to deal with; so patient with the wait for this new, special bike, and so happy and thankful for being in a position which allowed him this joyful opportunity.
When his new bike arrived in the middle of winter, he and I drove out to his house with a trailer in tow and he gave me encouraging words and a smile as I rode it off the trailer, through the snow and into his garage. If he was nervous watching me ride his new pride and joy through the slush and snow, he never showed it.
That was Randy to me: always smiling, always a kind word, always genuine caring for everyone he came into contact with.
Randy, you are a true class act and you will be missed, my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Randy for years at CBC Saskatoon. He was a pro, with a wonderful sense of humour.

Bonnie and family, I was shocked and surprised to hear of Randy's passing. I will miss our exchanges of friendly banter whenever our paths crossed in town. He was a pleasure to know a little and now I am sorry I didn't get to know him more. My condolenses to you.
