Dear Carrol and family, I was so sorry to hear from my brothers of Gerry's passing. Always remember his hearty laugh, and interest in discussing many topics. I wish you all strength, and my thoughts are with you in this difficult time. My deepest condolences. Grant

Dear Carol and family, when we were growing up Gerry to us was the smart, cool guy in the neighborhood. We remember that he liked to vary his mod of transportation and we never knew how he might turn up in the Walker yard... tractor, snow machine, old car or airplane! Gerry was a talented man and pillar of the Halcyonia and Borden communities. He will be missed! Thinking of you all with heartfelt sympathy, Bryan and Doreen Matschke

How fondly I remember Gerry, knowing him most of my life. Pictures that come to mind are, him listening to Jazz, building things for his boys, arms around Carrol, latex glove up to his elbow ready to 'pull' a calf, looking at Plane magazines, scrubbed up to go to town for a municipal meeting ,All this and more was Gerry. I will miss him. Praying for each of you as you learn to live without him.
