I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Lypka's passing. I attending Hemer Senior High when I studied under both he and Miss Hasek. I well remember their meeting and romance. They were both very fine teachers.
My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Lypka and to the entire Lypka family as well as the community they live in. I am very sure that the impact Mr. Lypka had on everyone he knew will be a lasting one and that he will be remembered (certainly by the students he taught) for many years to come.

We were very sad to read of Alex's sudden passing, and we wish to express our sincere condolences to Eva and all the family.
I (Merv) was a few years behind Alex in school in Balcarres, and he certainly provided inspiration to those of us with an interest in pursuing a career in education. Years later, we both enjoyed the times we got together with Alex and Eva after they moved to Saskatoon.
We know that Alex was much loved and respected by his wife, children and grandchildren, and that he left you all with memories you will cherish forever.
