My condolences to you on the passing of your dear Aunt Edith. I knew Edith because my late Mom Jean Spurgeon (d 2020) lived in the same building as Edith; Oliver Place. In fact, they lived on the same floor. I got to know Edith from my constant presence there, and she was just a lovely person. Always interested in saying hello. A quiet person with the most kindest smile and disposition. In fact, she came out of nursing retirement briefly at the start of 2020 to help my 90 year old mom administer her eye drops after cataract surgery, and Edith herself was 93!!! Just shows what a person she was.
