For many years I was a big fan of the German program on CFCR, which Sigrid hosted. I loved her selections, which ranged from classical, to folk songs and even to schlager. I even recorded some of the programs and put them onto CDs and still listen to them. Sunday afternoons were never the same after she left the program. Ruhe in Frieden.

Sigrid and I travelled side by side for many years. As close neighbours we shared many of life's trials and triumphs. We supported each other in good times and bad, something true friends do. We could talk about anything and always came away with a hug. I will miss her. Trudy

Sigrid was such a figure in the classical music community. First meeting her when I was a teen and she was a stalwart volunteer of the music festival, to then seeing her as a passionate lover of the SSO and CFCR. She loved a good concert! She will be missed at concerts
