It was with great sadness that I and my family heard about the passing of Mrs. Lambie. To say she had a huge impact on my life is an understatement. I first had Mrs. Lambie as my grade 6 teacher at Roland Michener (her last year there) and to say the least, I was not the easiest student she ever had. Disorganized, attention deficit, and a mess. I can't even imagine how she was able to deal with me at all. She did however introduce me to the fantasy genre of writing that I love so much to this day. Then later, she became my math teacher again in Evan Hardy. It was Mrs. Lambie who was able to unlock the puzzle as to how word problems worked, no small feat if you talk to my dad. Now many years later, I have become a teacher with a masters in mathematics education and more recently a principal of an elementary school in Calgary. My one regret was that I never was able to go back and tell her about the difference she made (and apologize for everything I put her through in grade 6). Many times over the years I have spoken of my times with Mrs Lambie as ones that greatly influenced the direction of my life. My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. She will be missed by so many.

My love and prayers go out to all the family during your time of loss, grief and celebration of a grand lady.
My family and I had the great privilege to share in some of the Paul/Lambie gatherings...
My fondest memory was meeting Judith as my son Earl Paul's math teacher at Evan Hardy over 20 years ago. I was passionately approached by her with an enthusiasm for my boys' "genius in mathematics". As our family went on to watch our son excel academically with many 'honor rolls in high school, great distinction from the U of S college of Commerce' we remember fondly of her guidance, support and pride she shared with us.
My last fond memory of Judith was her hosting my special niece Ashley's bridal shower. It was everything you would have dreamt of for your daughter, her granddaughter... We all basked in the classy, loving, fun celebration she created with her daughter law Cheryle and grandchildren. An abundance of food, fun, joy and laughter.
On behalf of my family I extend our deepest condolences and acknowledge the exemplary life of Mrs. Judith Lambie. Rest well dear lady.

My deepest condolences Lionel, Scott, Sean and Lynn. I wish I lived closer and would be able to attend the service on such short notice. It's seems like it was just the other day that I ran in to Lionel and Judith at the Party Store, but I guess it's been almost 2 or 3 years since my last visit. It's sad that it takes such an unfortunate life event too bring everybody together as its been a long time now since I've gotten to see the entire Lambie clan. My folks will represent the family and I hope I get the chance to catch up with both Lionel and/or Sean at some point later this summer, maybe up at the lake. Judith was a very special lady and another "mom" to us boys (Jeff, Sami, myself) that hung out with your son and she'll always be a part of a lot of wonderful memories that we share from those good old days growing up through the College Park and Evan Hardy years......she'll be missed by us all. My best wishes to you and your families at this difficult time. You're all in my thoughts as you celebrate the wonderful life and memories of Judith and I'm grateful that I knew her and was a small part of some of those special moments. All my best, Rob.

Dear Lionel and family: On behalf of my sisters, I want to extend to you our sincere sympathies on Judy's passing. She was a kind, gracious and talented woman who, as for many others, tutored me, successfully, in math. We lived on 8th Street, beside her and her parents who were great neighbours. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Our best regards to you - the Ross girls - Pat Winkel, Donna Karle, Janice Ross-Szabo and Sandra Weir
