Marilyn, Bruce, Vern, Michelle and all the family - our hearts are very saddened to hear of Barry's passing. We fondly remember and cherish the visits we had with Barry (which now we know we would have liked more) ... but ... we also know there are things that death cannot touch and our fond memories and your love for Barry are some of them. As you meet as family, may your find your treasure chest of intimate recollections of your husband, father, grandfather and friend that shine like jewels and brings comfort to your hearts. We are praying for strength, courage, the peace of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit to wrap around you all and keep you. Sincerest sympathy, love, warm hugs and heartfelt prayers from our family to yours. ~ Dana and Marge Bailey

Barry was a warm and friendly presence in Colonsay. His smile, cheerful greetings and willingness to lend a helping hand made a positive impact on the community and those around him. Losing someone like Barry leaves a void that cannot be easily filled. May the memories of the years you shared bring comfort to you and your family during this period of grief.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Merilyn and families,
At this sad time I would like to express our family’s deepest condolences to you and yours. We enjoyed many enjoyable hours on the deck at the cabin at Emma Lake. Always good conversation, good fun and good food, especially the morning coffee (with additives). Thank you for your great hospitality and friendship. I’m so glad we met in what seems like not so many years ago and sad that there couldn’t have been a lot more. We will miss you, Barry. Hugs to all and a handshake for Barry because I know he didn’t like hugs
