My mom and I are so sorry to read about the passing of Sally. We meet Sally thru Betty Laing and we always looked forward to seeing and talking to them in Market Mall. My one memory of Sally is when her back window on the car had spider cracked and I had to convince her and Betty (and that was not an easy thing to do) that the window will probably break when they were driving home. Sally told me that Betty watched the window the entire ride home and when it finally did break apart they were not scared and were expecting it. Mom and I lost contact with Sally during Covid but thought of her every time were at Market Mall. Barb and Lee Gregor

I got to know Sally from the Widow's group that met at St. Martin's United Church, while I was one of the ministers there. She made the group wonderfully fun and was very kind when I told the group bad jokes! Blessings to you in this time of loss. Darren Wooff

I am so sorry that over the years we have lost contact with each other, so I was very glad when Jean sent me a copy of Aunty Sally's passing. Sally meant the world to Jim and I. I am so pleased we were able to spend her last hours together. We loved her dearly and will miss her hugs and kisses. A tug of the ear to you dear Sally. As Carol Burnett would sing “ I’m so glad we had this time together. Just to have a laugh or sing a song”. We sang that to each other many times. Merilynn Coomber.

To the family, deepest condolences for your loss. Sally was an amazing woman. I enjoyed her stories of England and family. I will miss the phone call on Dec 28th, fore we happen to share the same birthday date. We would almost make it a game of who phoned first. She would remind me, that we would exactly 30 years apart. A couple of times we even shared a birthday cheer! Sally has been and will be missed at the monthly dinners out.

My sincere condolences to the Burrows family. I always stayed in touch with Sally at Christmas time. She was my Mom and Dad's best friend. They had great times together. I remember Alan too. All of them together again. Love to you all, David Bailey.
