My colleagues and I wish to pass on our condolences to the family of Renate, a woman I never met but who played a profound, but largely unrecognized, role in the course of British Columbia political, legal and judicial history.
She did some remarkable work in bringing to light some very real problems in this province and when the real history of British Columbia is written she will have a place in the Hall of Fame.
With blessings and good will to all of her family and friends.
