We enjoyed our visits with Dale at the lake and in Delisle anytime we were there. He was always willing to share a story and was genuinely interested in what was going on in our lives. Our condolences to your family.

To all of Dale’s family and friends my condolences. My memory is one of Fale going to a fastball tournament one weekend. They were short of players, so I was recruited even though I wasn’t in high school yet. Low and behold, I get picked up by “Mr Kielo” in his ‘63 1/2 Gallaxy convertible….so impressive was it, I still own a convertible. As a teacher, he was well respected and easy to approach. Thanks for sharing some of your years and experiences in Kinistino. RIP Dale…..

Sincere condolences to the Kielo family. Mr Kielo was my teacher in grade 5 and 6 and while I had many good teachers in Kinistino, Mr Kielo was always my favourite. He had a way of making us all feel important. He once told my mom that I was the apple of his eye…..I am fairly certain he told many parents that about their kid, but that line alone made me want to be less of a pain in the rear, and more of the apple of someone’s eye. He just seemed to know how to bring out the good in a kid. The world has lost a good man and I know he will be missed by many.

Dear Linda and family.
Im very sorry to hear about Mr. Kielo’s passing. Fond memories from back in the day in Kinistino.
I remember when he got his new convertible. I think ( now that's questionable) it was a red 1964 Ford galaxie. I was walking down the street, he stopped and offered me a ride. Boy did I think that was special. I had never been in a convertible before.
Special memories of a great teacher.
I can imagine how proud Dale was of his grandson winning provincials! I’m so glad he saw that big event!
Take care of each other
Sincerely, Trudy (McPhee) Retzleff

Our sincere condolences to all of Dale ( Mr. Kielo's) family. Mr. Keilo was my grade 5 and grade teacher and principal in Kinistino, and on a few occasions, I babysat for him and Linda. He made us follow the rules, but what stands out is that he was dlways consistent. Kind and fair. Sending many thoughts and prayers.
