To every season there is a time . . .
today, at this time, our corner of the world is blanked with snow -- seeming rather cold, yet so bright and pure in its whiteness.
Aunt Bernice you brought sunshine regardless of the season with your steadfastness and humor that you added to everyone's day
.
Enjoy your time on the other side, blessings to you and your family.
Love from your niece, Denise and family (nephew Rick and our kids, too: Richard, Lauresa, Nikita and Derick)

I have been honoured to share many Christmas, Thanksgiving and birthday celebrations with Bernice as part of the family gatherings hosted by John and Heather. I always enjoyed catching up with Bernice and stood in awe of her knitting prowess. She led a long and interesting life. My thoughts and prayers are with John, Heather, Paulina and Anna at this time - and all of the extended Thiessen family.

Our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma Bernice. As extended family we have many great memories of holidays spent together at Arnie and Brenda's home. We treasure all the knitted items Bernice shared with us. Sorry we are unable to be with you in person as you celebrate Bernice's life.

Bernice was special to our family. I always remember her joining us for our first Thanksgiving in Regina. Her stories were excellent and hilarious. While we lived in Regina she was always welcome in our home. I know she liked living in Saskatoon so she could be closer to her family there. I loved the updates from Heather and John about Bernice’s life in Saskatoon. It was always so nice to have a visit at family events when we came to visit.
Sending lots of love to the Thiessen clan. We are thinking of you and sending lots of hugs. Heather your Sundays are going to seem long and less lively. Bernice was a special lady and it was a privilege to know her.
