For over forty years Doug was my dear friend. He was always there for me, in the best of times and in the worst of times… I hope I was there for him as well. Even though there were periods of time when we had briefly lost touch, we were always able to renew our friendship, especially in the last few years. I will miss him forever, but his love, laughter, and wit will always be with me. Our thoughts and prayers are with David, Graham and Nea during this very difficult time.

We are saddened to learn of Doug's death. We enjoyed his company whether on the ski hill or in the back yard. His sharp wit and warm smile will be missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. We have many wonderful memories of working with Doug at the U of A hospital and spending time together as families when our children were younger. Thinking of all of you at this very difficult time and sending prayers and hugs to all of you.
