Dear Sally and family
So sorry to read of Tom’s passing, I just watched the online service and Eileen did a beautiful job telling the story of who her dad was. I remember working with Tom at Main Branch of Saskatoon Credit Union, I so enjoyed his sense of humour and his kind spirit. Tom was always so much fun to talk to and was sure to bring a smile to all those he encountered. But what stood out most was how he greeted everyone both fellow co-workers and members with that wonderful smile and compassionate heart, always a pleasure to be in his company. May you all take comfort in the many treasured memories. Blessings. Karen Heise

Deepest Condolences to aunt Sally and cousins on the passing of Uncle Tommy. The distance of Canada and Ireland meant I met him just a handful of times, however I easily got a sense of what a wonderful person he was. I always felt immediately at ease in his company and his genuine interest in others was evident. I had grown up hearing lovely stories about Tommy told by granny Laverty, so it was easy to see why he was loved so much. May he RIP. Xx

A lovely brother with a great smile. So many wonderful memories growing up with my big brother. He had time for everyone. He enjoyed Granny Smith apples and would shine them up before taking a bite. The years go by so fast you always think there will be more time to reconnect. Sending love to Sally and all the family. Rest In Peace Tommy, your sister Marie, brother in law John and family xx

Belfast’s loss was Saskatoon’s gain, since the Lavertys are a great contribution to this community. Thanks to Tom and Sally for having the sense of adventure to bring the family to the middle of the prairies. Sincere condolences to the family. Many memories of happy times with a great dad and husband will in time no doubt replace grief, and sustain them in this loss.
Sincerely,
Eric Cline and Pauline Melis (sent from New Zealand)

Dear Sally and Eileen, and the rest of the Laverty clan - we are sorry at the passing of your family patriarch, Tom. May he rest in peace. We knew Tom wasn't well - but from experience know that the death of a loved one is always too soon. We pray that all the good times and laughter you had together will keep Tom in your hearts forever. With love from The McGartlands (Frank and Gertrude)

Dear Sally, Sara, Eileen and all Tom’s beautiful family,
Our deepest heartfelt condolences to you all. What a great loss. Thinking of Tom I smile through my tears… he was one of a kind. He was funny and seemed to truly enjoy seeing you laugh at his jokes and tricks, he was generous and so kind.
I’ll never forget him as ‘the driver’ as he drove us ladies across Canada to Canada Games to watch our girls play soccer! He was ‘one of the girls’ and there was never a boring minute the whole way As far as fans go, Tom was the best! He was so proud of his Sara but also of all the girls.
God bless you all, Sally, May He surround you with Peace and Love in your sadness and restore your broken hearts.
Love Lis and Andrés
