To all the dear family and friends who loved and were well-loved by Jeanette,
You have been greatly blessed to know Jeanette on this side of heaven. As a first cousin the same age I was an early friend to Jeanette. Our times on the farm in Scott were amazingly joyful. As the oldest in a house literally brimming with younger siblings, Jeanette never complained about her chores and responsibilities. She was always dependable, always happy, with the most delightful laugh and a smile that lit up a room. When our family moved to Ottawa I missed more than anything else those happy playful times with Jeanette. if I had a flower for every time I thought about her - from remembering how she kicked the blankets off her feet at night to her athletic skill at catching fly balls, I’d have a magnificent flower garden. Those little memories are treasured things that I will always hold in my heart.
The angels have escorted Jeanette home. The deep deep peace of Christ to all who are still homeward bound. Until that glorious day, she sparkles still.
