Obituary of Sara Katherine Schmidt

Sara Katherine Schmidt

(nee Liddle)

Sara passed away on September 18^th , 2022 at St. Paul ’s Hospital at the age of 82 years.   Sara was born on March 15^th, 1940 in Crompton , SK.   She grew up in the Crompton district and moved to Saskatoon where she owned her own Beauty Salon until she met and married Lloyd Schmidt.  Together they raised their son Donald Schmidt and daughter Donalyn Schmidt, both of Saskatoon .  Sara and Lloyd were married for 52 years. 

In her earlier years, Sara loved gardening, sewing, canning, playing the piano and doing puzzles, but her true passion was her family.  She was a gentle loving woman always full of kind words and had a beautiful smile. 

Sara is predeceased by her parents Mary and Clayton Liddle as well as her brothers David and Gordon Liddle.  She is survived by her husband Lloyd; son Donald and daughter Donalyn as well as numerous nieces and a nephew.
