Robert (Bob) Lamy passed away peacefully at his home, St. Angela Merici Residence, in

His second career was woodworking. He spent many hours in his backyard wood shop creating intricate pieces of furniture. Robert and Jean continued living in
Robert had many talents, was never afraid to try anything new and was very quiet but always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, of 71 years and his children Edward (Lucille) Lamy of Grande Prairie, AB; Lorraine Gheyssen of Saskatoon, SK; Irene (Mel) Murray of Estevan, SK; Suzanne (Brent) Rowley of Halifax, NS; he is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by his brother John (Rita) Lamy; sister-in-law Paula (Walter) Yatchyshyn and sister-in-law Sally (Joe) Strumbicki. Robert was predeceased by his parents Felecien and Julia Lamy; parents-in-law Eugene and Marie Hardy; brothers Jules and Marcel; sisters Simone, Aline and Angele; sister-in-law Rita Stach and brothers-in-law baby Paul Hardy and Paul Hardy; and his son-in-laws, Robert Molyneux and Gary Gheyssen.
Prayers will take place Friday, May 20 at 5:00 p.m. From St. Anne's Roman Catholic Parish 217 Lenore Drvie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Parish.
In lieu flowers donations can be made in Robert’s name to a charity of your choosing. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Angela Merici Residence for the loving care and compassion that was shown to Robert.
