Dear Larry, Merlis, Sylvia, Colleen, and Shawn,
My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Daryl. I just recently became aware of his passing and wanted to show my respect. Daryl was a good man and always very kind to me. I always like him. Your family was always kind to me and I think of them often. Losing my father was devastating. I cannot even imagine the heartache of losing a child/sibling. I still think of all of you often and will always treasure the good memories.
My prayers are with you.

Merlis, Sylvia & family- We have 2 sons just a little younger than Daryl, and just thinking of losing one of them is unbearable. We are praying for you that the God of all comfort will in His love and compassion for each of you, ease the pain that you are experiencing in your loss.
One of the wonderful gifts that has been bestowed in each of us is the ability to remember. As you think of the special times that each of you have spent with Daryl, I am sure that you will be forever thankful for him.
We will be continuing with our prayers for all of you.
Sincerely- Clare & Vangy Heagy

Merlis, Sylvia, Colleen, Larry, Shawn, and Patrick: it was with great shock that I read about Daryl’s fatal accident. Although I did not know him personally, I know the effect of losing a son and brother. You have my deepest sympathies. I hope your good memories will help to comfort you.

I'll never ever forget you as an 859'er Golie. it will remind in my mind the time we played one of the toughest team in a soccer tournament. You were down and the first thing you asked was "Did we win" and of course we did. Rest in peace Darryl.
