So sorry for your loss. Our families had many great times together growing up. Stand outs for me include of course the lake and also sitting in your kitchen with my dad and your mom talking baking. Tracy Kernaghan(Speidel)

Our deepest condolences to Lorraine’s family. We will always remember the many happy times spent with her and Bill who encouraged us to take up skiing in the Rockies. She loved having fun and her laugh was definitely contagious.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies to family and friends of Loraine. She was a truly special beautiful person who will always be in our hearts. So many wonderful memories of the Schultz and Sorenson families getting together over the years to have fun, celebrate milestones and experience life together with feasts, road trips, outdoor and camp fire fun. The world was blessed to have Loraine in it as she was a genuine giving and kind person who left a positive impact on anyone that was lucky enough to have known her. We hope you can find comfort in the memories and celebration of her life.

Beautiful inside and out, this picture of her was taken during one of our winter COVID walk and talk sessions! Loraine had a zest for life and adventure that I truly admired! I’m grateful for our friendship and will hold on to all the wonderful memories that we shared. It was hard to say goodbye but I know your at peace now! Sending my thoughts and prayers to Norm and her family.
Warmest regards,

Our deepest sympathy to the whole family. We were neighbours and friends at the lake for many, many years. We shared books, meals, laughs, and an interweaving of our lives with Bill and Loraine and then, later, after Bill’s death, with Norm. Our lives are much richer for having known Loraine and her entire family. We grieve with all of you.

Loraine was a forever friend - warm, giving and passionate about life, keen to try new experiences. Two memories amongst others come to mind...flying in a helicopter over the edge of the Grand Canyon, we were in the front with the pilot (being the lightest!), guys in the back. Just as we swooped into the Canyon there was a crescendo of some classical music over the speakers - that was a thrill!
Another was when we (our Beta reading club) gathered to say goodbye when Norm and Loraine left for Saskatoon in 2018.
Now time for another goodbye...Loraine cared so much for me at a time when I needed her. I hope to pay that forward. Sympathies to all her family and many friends.

We would like to express heartfelt condolences to our cousins and their families and to Norm and his family. We wish you comfort in this most difficult of times.
In my eyes I saw Aunt Loraine first and foremost as a hard-working mother who raised three somewhat delinquent kids (you know who you are).
Loraine was also very practical (hello, washing the carrots for pickling in the washing machine? Genius!), adventurous (trekking in Nepal), and had the world’s best giggle. I remember being very young, perhaps 4 or 5, and grinding my teeth whilst twisting my nose to make her laugh – if I had been able to see her one more time before she passed, I would have tried it again, just to hear her giggle.
May you all find peace knowing that Loraine has gone to a better place and continue to smile, maybe even giggle a little, when you remember her.
