Dear Darla and Dave,
I fondly remember Marlene for her vivacious presence as a volunteer in the Eye Care Center and as mother of Darla, my excellent secretary there, and her grandmotherly comments about Hannah and Seth. She never sang for me but if she could carry it off like Darla it would have been a wonderful performance. Our condolences and prayers.

My dear sister,
All I have of you are good memories. Saskatoon will never be the same. Life will not be the same without you. You have left a giant hole in all our hearts. But you are finally at peace and your spirit carries on through your children. All the memories will keep us smiling. Rest In Peace Dear Sister. ❤️

It was precious to see the love all of you shared with your mom and with one another as her health declined. You are a strong family and although your loss and your grief will be so hard, you can have some comfort in knowing that she knew you loved her so much! Heartfelt prayers for each of you! Much love! From Your Brother Howard
My Dear Sister Marlene I have Several Memories Growing up Around You and with You... Kim,Laura, Darla, and Lana...Dear Children of Marlene I want to Share this Great Memory with You All. One of My Earliest Memories is when Your Mom Marlene,Diana and Myself Competed in a Radio Hosted Amateur Singing Competition.. I think I was 10 or 12 Years Old at the Time. There are Several more Really Great Memories I Could Share with You also Playing Ball, Skating, Playing Hockey. Marlene was Very Active in Sports and She was a Competitor.. but The Last Great Memory is when Lana picked Me up to go and visit Marlene at Her Private Home Care Residence, when I asked Her to Sing The Raymore Rocket Song and She Sang All Verses of it.. it brings Tears Both Sadness and Joy when I think of that Day..Your Memory was Fine to Remember all That... and now You can Sing in Harmony with the Angels in Heaven..Rest in Peace Dear Sister.. with all The Love of God Guiding You

To all of Marlene's family; we extend our heartfelt condolences to you, as you grieve the loss of your Mother / Grandmother. May the memories you share, along with the laughter of days gone by, comfort you during this difficult time.
Sorrow lasts but for a night, but, joy cometh in the morning (unknown) ...may the morning light that Marlene walked into, be an inspiration to you, that one day you will meet again!
Love & prayers

I did not know my cousin Marlene real well as I was a fair bit younger....I knew she had a sense of humour and got to know her and her family by watching their Facebook posts....she was blessed with four superb well grounded kids. She did a cross stitch of my father-in-law’s army picture which is phenomenal...I will treasure it always!
