Uncle Ed, I still remember stopping by your Emco store on 2nd Avenue for a hotdog treat. I remember going to the harness racing to cheer on Senga Hope, Prairie Dawn, and all your other horses. Your laughter, joking around and smiles, and your warm welcome to your home with Aunty Jean, will stay in our memories of you. With much love, Joanne, Graham and family

Jean and Family - please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss.
Ivy and Clarence considered you to be most important and close friends and spoke of you so warmly. They would be distressed with knowledge of Ed's passing, as am I.

Oh Jean, I am so sorry for your loss. You guys have been on my mind so often, why didn't I call? This virus has us locked up and keeping to ourselves, but a phone call should have been made and now I am sorry. This is the same month Uncle Gary passed a year ago and lord how I miss him. We mustn't wait to call people or touch base with relatives and friends we love, this is the perfect time to do it. There are a lot of family waiting for me when I pass, and Ed is now with uncle Gary and who knows what they will be up to. The uptick in this virus will keep me from the service but know that I will be there in my heart. You two are very special to me, and the weird thing is we always seemed run into each other at funerals. I'm going to try this online but my computer is really old and this will be a crapshoot. xoxo

Uncle Ed, we will remember your twinkling blue eyes and your mischievous smile. Your kindness and willingness to always welcome us into you and Aunt Jean's home. Our wonderful visits with you both here in Toronto (some fun poker games!). You were a wonderful man and we will miss you dearly. Our love and support to Auntie Jean, Wendy, Brent, Debbie and Cindy and all your family.

Dear Aunt Jean and the whole Kloeble family. I was pained by the news of Uncle Ed’s passing. I am reminded of the last time I saw Uncle Ed when you and he passed through Colorado on a driving trip. It was such a privilege for my kids to get to know him better. They instantly bonded with him as I remember doing so on our many family trips to Saskatoon when I was kid. My uncle had such a peaceful and loving way about him that instantly drew people to him. He will be dearly missed.
P.S. I've included a pic from the archives when Ed was visiting us in Pasadena California, Nov. 2002.
Love Richie Huber

My heart is aching over this loss. Ed's laugh will remain with me always. Was he ever not laughing? I know our Dad will have been waiting for him with a handful of (very bad) new jokes and a hug and they will be roaring over old times and times to come. Ed was, and remains, one of the kindest most loving, sincere souls I have had the honour of knowing. What a blessing he will always be to those who knew him.
