Dear Family,
I remember Byron from Boys and Girls Clubs Extended Day Program when my two older children were in attendance at Georges Vanier elementary school. A very nice man. So sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Traynor family. I worked with Paulette for 30 years at Kelsey and attended several social functions at their home over the years. Byron was always warm and hospitable, and a great story teller as the family noted. He had a great sense of humor and was never at a loss for words. He will be missed and remembered for his life long commitment to youth.

To the Traynor family. Ron and myself offer our deepest condolences to you. We are golfers at Dakota Dunes. Byron was a regular member of our group - I golfed with him 3 times a week. We also had a number of great rounds of golf in Palm Springs this past winter - before COVID hit and we were all forced to come back to Canada. Byron often shot from the forward tees so he and I had some great conversations about everything. And his dry sense of humour always brought a smile in these abnormal times. I realize your family has had their share of tragedy lately. And I know Byron will be missed. We will miss him too. Just know he was well liked and respected. Rest in peace Byron. And, yes, his famous words to me, "it's only a ball" Jan. (I was always on the hunt for lost golf balls - and if we couldn't find his - he told me the previous statement).

When I popped into Saskatoon unannounced in 2018 he dropped his golf game and came to lunch with me, no problem. Come to think of it, just like he did when I showed up in Banff in 1974. I’m sorry you’re gone, Byron. My love to all my Traynor cousins.

I will miss the golf games with Byron immensely... those were always the best times to chat during those rounds out at Dakota Dunes or at Good Spirit Lake when Paulette and Byron still had their cabin there. Condolences to the Traynor family. Randal and Arlene Cripps

Byron was only 12 when his mother was the soloist at our wedding at Lakeview Church. We've known the family for years and wish to express condolences to all.

To Beth Traynor,
Dear Beth, my sympathy on the passing of your brother Byron. I have so many wonderful memories of him and can still hear his chuckle and see his mischievous smile. As you may remember, I really enjoyed working with him and there was never a day with Byron that I didn't look forward to.
Thinking of you and your family, and wishing you courage and strength,
Colleen Gerwing
