Our sincere sympathy to cousins Chris, Carey, Ron and Melody, and to your children and grandchildren, as they will miss their dear Baba. Auntie Elizabeth is a part of my earliest childhood memories, when our mother Anna would take Pat and I to visit our relatives in Sask. and in later years family visits back and forth between Ont. and Sask. Auntie Elizabeth shone with a unique glow and sparkle. She was elegant, gracious, personal and caring. Our sympathy also to her sisters Mary and Darlene.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Chomyn. I worked with Mrs. Chomyn at The Bay. I remember clearly her working in “the Mirror Room.” To myself, a young woman, she epitomized such class. My parents knew of her through Sts. Peter & Paul Church. I spoke to her at my Dad’s funeral at Sts Ps., and we reminisced about our days at The Bay and gosh, we had some good chuckles. She was such a sophisticated woman, and so kind and gentle in nature. I really admired her. May she Rest In Peace. I will never forget her beautiful face and her graceful nature. My sincere condolences to her family. Shane McCleary and Ann Nakoneshny.

To my cousins and their respective families
I know that the loss of a mother/grandmother/great-grandmother is especially difficult. Be assured that the rest of the extended family feels the pain with you. Unfortunately, in these times when we cannot get together to comfort each other this event is that much harder to deal with.
Aunt Elizabeth was an amazing person. Any event she attended was better because of her presence. When meeting she would always greet you with a brilliant smile and kind and thoughtful words. She was special.
I have may wonderful memories of her from when I was just a little guy to recent times. She will never be forgotten. She was also my godmother which strengthened our connection. I will especially miss our Xmas calls.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Take care

My heartfelt condolences to you and your families. Aunt Elizabeth was a very gentle and elegant lady. I have such fond memories of her visits to Sudbury...her laughter, shared stories, and her love of family. It is always so hard to lose a parent no matter how long they have been with us. May your memories give you peace and comfort.
