He will be deeply missed by many. Don was a knowledgeable man. As a colleague, he showed me just some of his skills. RIP Don

My condolences to Rose and familiy, and to Linda , Dale and families. I am so sorry to learn of Dons death today. It has come as quite a shock, and my heart goes out to all of you. Fond memories come to mind of days spent many yesterdays ago in piping and drumming with Saskatoon Boys Pipe band, and the Bonnie Bluebells. Don was probably the best tenor drummer ever, and could certainly lead a band well as a drum major. He was always fun, and kind, and many a happy time I recall spending with all the West and Martin family as a young girl. Although I hadnt seen Don in several years, it was good to keep up with what he and Rose were doing with their family via facebook. He will definitely be missed. ...Lynda Lyon-Walls
