Dear Mona and Shaloo,
We were extremely saddened at the sudden passing of your mother Vimla. This was specially heartbreaking for all because of the pending celebration of her 80th birthday. Of course, it is comforting to know that she had a peaceful departure from this earth.
We came to know both Vimla and your late father Chatur shortly after our arrival in Saskatoon in 1970. As the community from the Indian subcontinent was relatively small, all of us bonded very quickly. We remember your mother as a kind and caring member of the community, always trying to make the newly arrived community members feel welcome. We regret that we are not able to attend the memorial service due to another longstanding commitment. We pray that Vimla's soul finds eternal peace in God's hands.

Dearest Mona and Shaloo,
We were shocked to hear about Auntie's passing, especially so close to an upcoming milestone.
No words can express the grief we share with you and your families.
Some of my most cherished childhood memories of growing up in Saskatoon is the bond between our families and the warmth and love your parents gave to a young and impressionable young boy.
May the almighty ease your pain as time passes. I hope you both feel some comfort in knowing that both your parents were loved and respected by so many that were fortunate to be in their light.
Our deepest condolences and you are both in our thoughts.
Much Love,
Lesley and Salil Sareen
