Obituary of Scott Beck

Scott Beck

July 4, 1972 – November 25, 2018

It is with is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Beck of Saskatoon, on November 25th, 2018. Scott was born in Regina on July 4, 1972 to Dick and Rose, attending Luther High School and the U of R, making many life long friends. He worked at IPSCO until he and Leslie relocated to Saskatoon in 2005. As they made Saskatoon their home, Scott completed the Electronic Systems Engineering Technology program and earned his A.Sc.T. Designation, becoming an HVAC controls specialist. Scott absolutely loved his work and enjoyed his friendships with all of the people that become part of his life through his employment with Danrich Environmental Controls in Saskatoon and at the University of Saskatchewan. Scott spent time with family and friends on southern winter vacations and summer times at the beach and boating. Diving was a sport that he and Leslie shared and one which he avidly pursued, both recreationally and professionally. He considered his friends in the diving community as family. Scott’s greatest enjoyment of life came from the time shared with his daughter Michaela. He completely loved every part of being a dad to his girl. Scott is survived by his wife, Leslie Badham and their daughter Michaela of Saskatoon, his parents Dick and Rose Beck of Lethbridge, AB, grandmother Veryl Beck of Edmonton, mother in law, Marge Badham of Regina, SK, sister in law, Marnie Badham of Melbourne, Australia, and many very special aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Way or to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Saturday, December 1st, at 2:00 PM at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 - 4th Avenue N).
