I was fortunate enough to meet and enjoy Wilda through the family connection of her cousin, my husband Jack. She had always a sparkle of light in her eyes that told of her warm, generous and lively spirit. I was privileged to get to know her and her family and send my love and condolences to all of them.

We were so saddened to hear of Aunty Wilda's passing. I have several fond memories of her and family get-togethers at the farm which always started out with a fierce hug and a huge meal. Words are never adequate in moments like these. We will say though, that our hearts go out to you, and we will always remember the joyous memories that we are privileged to have in knowing Aunty Wilda. Thinking of you all-- Joanne, Neil and families.

I will fondly remember Wilda for her wonderful ability to encourage my teaching career as my supervising teacher for my practice teaching term in Asquith. She was a wonderful role model and became a life long friend. We always had a good visit when our paths crossed. It was a pleasure to know her.
Sincere sympathy,
Debbie Rolston

Wilda was everyone's favorite teacher! I treasure memories from Grade Two and feel fortunate to have been a student in her classroom. I remember playing tball, for the first time, at her farm camp out and oh how I loved to tease Wally, just to see him grin at me! How loved they both are! Wilda will always hold a special place in my memories and my heart.
My deepest sympathies ...

My symphathies on Wilda's passing. I remember her caring ways and kind sense of humor. She was one of my favorite Sundy School teachers! She was a good friend to my mother, Florence. Hers was a life well-lived. She will be missed!
