My sincere condolences for the passing of Helga. I will always remember her mischievious smile and her sense of adventure. Over the years she was present at many sychronized swim meets when our daughter was swimming and my mom shared her enthusiasm of swimming at Candle Lake. Her delightful presence will be missed at choir. Her memory will certainly live on in our hearts.
God bless you.

Dear Family of Schulz's. I was saddened to hear about the loss of your mom. I have many memories of your mom and dad from our times camping at Candle Lake. I have clear pictures of your mom getting in the water and out of the water and having her pointed out to me way in the distance swimming way down the lake. Did she ever have a green bathing suit? I remember going to your cabin and hanging out with John, Peter and Anita Lehmann. I have an image of your dad walking over to us on the beach with a big big smile and then laying down on the sand to chat to my dad.
Your mom was a very warm woman with an intelligent light in her eye. For many years she came to my parents house to give my dad a red rose on xmas eve for his birthday. My grandma loved talking to your mom as did my mom. I think in some ways they shared cultural history as well as rich conversations about other global topics. When I heard she had passed I felt that I just needed to let you to know that your mom has a place in my childhood memories and a connection to my family that went on into adult hood. You mom was a very vibrant woman. Take care, Angelina Eisele

For me, there are two things which define summer - the Shakespeare tents going up, and seeing Helga's smiling face when she took in the shows. Summer has become less bright.
My thoughts are with your family during this time.

Always a vision of her smiling face when I think of her, or saw her. A beautiful adventurous spirit lives on in her children. She persevered many eclectic challenges included in raising 6 boys and the many friends that they brought home. Mom to all. Fond memories of you guys!
