UDELL, Dorothy Alice
May 31, 1927 – January 18, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Udell at Samaritan Place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on January 18, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Calvin Udell, and the loving mother of Daniel (Elizabeth) of Ottawa, Linda Rollin (Edward) of Regina, Judy Tomiak (Jack) of Edmonton, Thomas (Laurel) of Edmonton, Lori Hansen (Larry) of Portland, Oregon, Alan (Adrienne Jones) of Vancouver Island, and Michael (Sharon Lipka) of Nipawin. She was a beloved older sister to Rita Evans, Iris Mills, and Lorraine Wilson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and an abundance of nephews and nieces. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Olive Sarsfield. Dorothy was born in Lang, Saskatchewan on May 31, 1927. She took her public and high school education in Viscount. Dorothy was a dedicated housewife, gifted cook and gardener who loved to spend time in her cabin at Pike Lake. We will miss her peaceful and nurturing demeanor and her hearty laugh.
