Obituary of Vimla Devi Kaushik

Vimla Devi Kaushik of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the age of 84 at the Pasqua General Hospital. Vimla was born on March 15, 1932 to parents Ram Lal and Bhagwanti Sharma in New Dehli, India. She was predeceased by her parents, Ram Lal and Bhagwanti Sharma, sister, Santosh Sharma, brother, Jagdeesh Sharma, sons Deepak and Bhanu (Doug) Kaushik, and grandson Dale Kaushik. Vimla will be sadly missed by her husband, Daya Chand of 69 years, and children Sadhna Kaushik and Rakesh (Sherry) Kaushik, her 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mahesh (Ram Prakesh) Sharma, brothers, Ramesh (Suman) Sharma, Naresh (Veena) Sharma, and Ravinder (Manju) Sharma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all in India.
