Obituary of Nick Nemanishen

Nick Nemanishen April 13, 1931 – December 4, 2016 The family of Nick Nemanishen is deeply saddened to announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, December 4, 2016. Nick will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ruby of 57 years; daughter Glenda Lamarche and her sons Dallon and Brodie; son Ryan Nemanishen and his daughters Ashley (Chris) and Kayla (Preston); son-in-law Barry Saunders; his three precious great grandchildren Kayton, Braxton and Bently. He is also survived by his brother Peter (Irene). Nick was predeceased by his daughter Renita Saunders; his parents Nick and Polly; and brother Mike. Following Nick’s marriage to Ruby in 1959 they took over the family homestead where they farmed for over 40 years before retiring to the city of Saskatoon in 1995. We shall always remember Nick’s friendliness, warmth, and his devotion as a loving husband and a kind father who took great pride in his family and love for farming, fishing, and hunting.
