Also left to mourn Frank are his brother Hal (Pat) Davis, his sister Ann (Don) Clark and sister in law Joan Mann and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents Rollie and Pearl Davis, in-laws Wilf and Winnie Irvine and brother-in-law Al Mann. Frank was born in Hawarden, Saskatchewan moving to Saskatoon around the age of 9. He attended Mayfair School, Caswell Hill School and Bedford Road Collegiate. Following high school Frank worked with SaskPower for 5 years before starting his own company Westgate Esso with his partner and friend, Hank Gamelin. They sold Westgate Esso in 1975 and ventured from part time to full time farming. H & F Holding became a very successful and innovative operation in the Asquith/Langham area. Frank loved farm life and he and Barb lived on the home quarter until 1996 at which time they moved into Saskatoon where they lived until his passing. They enjoyed many winters in Yuma, Arizona and Palm Springs, California. The summers were spent at the cabin at Emma Lake where he spent time with his wife, kids and grand children fishing, skiing, golfing and just spending time together. One of Frankfs greatest loves was playing music which started in high school playing the Saxophone and Accordion with his first band the "The Dixie Six". In later years he enjoyed many years playing with "The Trimbletones Old Time Dance Band". His love of music stayed with him until his final days and even though he battled with dementia he played his Accordion until his last hospitalization. He also enjoyed bird carving and his beautiful creations will be treasured forever. Frank was a people person and his friendly and kind nature earned him many friends over the years. He never went somewhere without someone knowing him. The family would like to thank the staff at St, Pauls Hospital and the Transitional Care Unit at Saskatoon City Hospital for the care and compassion they gave to Frank and his family. In lieu of flowers donations to The Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan or The Saskatoon Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
