I worked with Max at the Veterans Village. He was a story telling person. Loved his jokes. Max took everything in stride. I will miss him. Thank you for letting me work with Max. It was a privilege to work with a veteran who let us have our freedom.
Rest in Peace Max.

Vern was always friendly with me, his much younger cousin, when I was growing up in Saskatoon. Our families lived close to one another. The farm harvest prevents me from attending the funeral, but I'd like to extend sympathy to Vern's family.
