To Don, Doug, and your extensive and extended families we wish to offer our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. Our association with your parents goes back many years from Masonry and the Shrine, to Faith Lutheran Church, the business, and more recently to coffee talk in Market Mall. Always a smile, a handshake, and a chuckle or two from both of them.
Your beautiful obituary is a wonderful explanation of why she was such a foundation to your family. While we saw her as a quiet and unassuming person, she was ever 'the lady'! Always wearing a hat in church, smartly yet tastefully dressed, and sporting high heels when most everyone else was into support hose and sneakers. The picture you paint of her interests and her capabilities is of a truly remarkable person whose life was anything but easy but very personal. A gem in every sense of the word, and it is apparent why she was so much a part of the love in your families and the values you shared.
We are so very happy that in a small way we shared the pleasure of her company on several occasions throughout the years.
