In Loving Memory of Colleen Marie Kimber (née MacDonald)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Marie Kimber (née MacDonald) on June 12, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, Colleen’s warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Colleen was the cherished daughter of Mike MacDonald, born in Yorkton, and Patricia (Patsy) MacDonald (née Saunders), born in Edmonton. She was a beacon of love and strength to her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Christopher Kimber, and their two cherished children, Joshua and Brenna Kimber. She also leaves behind the memory of her late daughter pre-deceased, Kyle-Ann and mom Patricia, grandparent, uncle’s, aunt’s and cousin’s. Her love for her family was boundless, and she instilled in her children the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of family.

Colleen was a loving sister to Susan Hamilton and Michelle George. She was a doting aunt to Susan’s children, Brayden and Kasey, and Michelle and (Kelly’s) children, Chloe, Cassidy, and Keenan. Her love and care extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her nieces and nephews.

Colleen’s life was a testament to quiet strength and unwavering love. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her loved ones and all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we navigate this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the memories of her infectious laughter, her love for life, and the moments of joy and happiness we shared with her.

A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held Tuesday June 18th at 1:00pm at The Saskatoon Funeral Home, where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears in honor of a woman who meant so much to so many.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire and guide us. Colleen, you will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
