Obituary of Emily Blushke
Emily Margaret Annetta Blushke was born in Surrey England on August 30, 1942.
She grew up in East Sussex England and Langham Saskatchewan.
She is the daughter of Jack and Grace Quiring, the sister to Phillip Jolly, and dear wife to Jarvis Blushke. She leaves behind a loving family, God Children, many dear friends and neighbours.
Emily’s love for the countryside of England was magnificent as was her adoration of the Prairies right here in Canada.
She had many talents and skills within the business world which would always have a focus on helping others, this wonderful trait carried over into her personal life.
Travel became such a huge part of Emily’s life not only because of her love for both England and Canada but also business, through this her & Jarvis shared many adventures together near and far.
Another of Emily’s loves was to be the hostess with the mostess. She enjoyed nothing more than having a large gathering or a close family meal putting her amazing culinary skills to good use and making sure no one went home hungry.
She could turn her hands to anything, from a business owner to milking a cow and planting potatoes.
She loved her flower garden and always had a huge smile when it was in full bloom.
Emily will truly be deeply missed by all who knew her.
At Emily’s request there will not be a funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice at Glengarda or the Canadian Cancer Society.
