My uncle Ian was a great, loving, caring man. I will always miss the times him and my auntie Barb would come visit my grandpa (his brother Alex), my grandma (his sister in law Judy), my mother Denise Mckechnie (his niece), and myself and brothers Louis and Brandon. I'm very glad to know he felt he lived a full filled life and loved by many, especially our family. As of January 24th, 2019 he is also preceded in death with my beautiful and precious mother, his niece, Denise Mckechnie(2/09/60-1/24/19). I will always love you uncle Ian, and I will truly miss you so very much. But I know now you are with great grandma Densie (who I am honored to be named after), grandpa Bob, grandma Judy, and now my mother Denise. I lost touch with my auntie Barb, I hope one of my family members reads this and to get ahold of me. I would greatly appreciate it. Rest in Paradise uncle.
Love always,
Densie Sage Mckechnie-Girten (Great niece) & Joseph Jr., Angelica, Jaime Washington(great great niece&nephews)

Peter and I are going to miss the kindest, gentlest and sweetest man we have ever known. Loved our visits and watching him with those he held near and dear. Ian, you will be missed but you will never be forgotten.

Shelley, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing! Your parents were both such a large part of growing up in Sutherland with our constant sleepovers throughout public school. I will always remember your dad's constant smile and gentle way. His passing will leave an enormous void in your and Shelby's life but I know you will feel him watching over you both! My condolences to your amazing Mom and to Tim and his family during this most difficult and emotional time. I'm sorry I won't be in town to join you in the celebration of his life . Sincerely and with love. ~Elsa ~
