Jim Porter
October 4, 1942 – June 5, 2024

It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce the passing of Jim (James) Porter. Dad/Papa passed away on June 5, 2024 from complications after a fall. He was surrounded by family.

Family and friends of Jim and Irene please come and celebrate their lives Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00.   The celebration will occur at the Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. 

They are leaving their children Gary (Gelen); Jackie (Steve); Stacy (Kim), grandchildren Damian (Sierra); Angel, “Big”Andrew (Zhara), “Little” Andrew and Carter. Sister Betty, sister in law Julie, aunts, nephews and several cousins.   They were married in Mayfair, Saskatchewan later moved to Saskatoon where they had their children and raised them and would eventually retire.  They enjoyed dancing and camping.  They each had many hobbies.  Sadly illness stopped them from doing what they enjoyed.  Mom passed away February 29, 2024 and Dad passed away June 5, 2024.
