Obituary of Robert Cyril Davidson
Robert Cyril Davidson passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his wife Marge Davidson in 2003. He is survived by his children, Mona Davidson (Paul Bodnaruk), Clinton Davidson, Ryan Davidson (Natalie), and grandchild Nicole Bodnaruk. Cyril also leaves behind his brother Keith Davidson (Mary), niece Dawn Davidson-Heck, niece Arden Moore, and nephew Blake Davidson and sister-in-law Jeanette Coates and her daughter Laurel (Terry). Cyril grew up in Melfort, SK. He met his wife Marge while he was working at a bank in Saskatoon. In 1974 they took over the family farm near Blaine Lake, SK. During this time he was a councilor for the rural municipality of Blaine Lake for many years. He retired from farming in 2002. Cyril was an avid card player and liked to visit with friends and family. Special thanks to the caring staff at Porteous Lodge in Saskatoon for making his last months as comfortable as possible.
