To Bob’s family:
I was a co-worker of Bob’s at Cameco over 10 years ago. When I attended the funeral today I was amazed at the description Meghan gave of her father and how it so closely matched our view of him at Cameco – a true gentleman, a genuine person, someone always in good spirits, approachable. In your grieving process, please know that many people that you probably do not know are thinking of you and supporting you in our prayers. And yes, most of us were women – seems to be the story of his life. I am sorry I could not stay after the service today to pass along my condolences in person.

Bob & I were colleagues & friends at Cameco for many years. We shared both good & not so good times as the company's fortunes rose & fell. Throughout it all, Bob set an example for us as to how a caring, thoughtful and generous person should behave even in the most trying times. And he had a lovely light sense of humour that ticked us all. I will remember him as one of the best people that I have had the pleasure of knowing.
