Karen and family, My sincere sympathy to all of you. Wade fought some big battles, and as I well know, some battles are just not meant to be won. Your journey ahead will be difficult. you don't "get over" grief, you :get through" it. When such a big part of your life is gone, you will continue to get through it (in different forms for all) for years to come, if not forever, so hang on to all the good memories as your journey goes forward. I always enjoyed our running joke about "his cut" of any of my catering or election earnings. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

I was so very sorry to hear of Wades' newest struggle and passing. I know how quickly this cursed disease can appear and take our loved ones! Wade was a respected and very much liked member of the ASL family, and as head of that family he was a fair boss to work for. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your whole family Karen. Keep your memories close to your heart. xo Patti Garner and Family

All of my memories of my “little” cousin Wade bring a smile to my face as we always enjoyed laughing, teasing and telling stories whenever we were together. He always used to look at his long arms thinking it was perhaps because he had spent more time misbehaving with Auntie Madeline.
I’m still out of the country so won’t be at your final farewell but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
My heart breaks for Karen, your children and your precious grand babies whom you loved so much.
May our angels in heaven welcome you and help you rest in peace.
Love from your cousin - Pamela Smith

My condolences to your family. I am Gary Anderson's nephew. Wade has been a family friend of my mom's family for many years. I fondly recall one time when he and Billy "helped" move Gary and Katie out of their place in Saskatoon by watching my brother and I move all the heavy stuff, drinking beer the whole time in the loading truck and telling stories about my uncle and aunt during university days that I probably wasn't supposed to hear. He will be missed.

Dear Karen, We were so sorry to hear of the illness and death of Wade. Don and I always enjoyed seeing you both at reunions and celebrations of Bill's family. You were both so accepting of all the Lamberton clan.I especially loved sharing childhood memories of our Crane Valley and region era with Wade, and chatting about our many adventures through the years after. I will miss those wonderful times. We are thinking of you at this time . Keep your family close and share your wonderful family memories together.

I am so sorry to hear of Wade's passing. His story of recovery after his stroke is heroic and he was more than willing to share it in print and on screen. Every time Wade came into the office I made sure to say hi to my "actor". My condolences to Karen and family.
