Obituary of Gordon Alan Lowery

On March 28th, 2024, loving life to the fullest, father, friend, partner, husband, Gord was hit with a severe heart attack at home, leaving his heart severely damaged. On March 31st, 2024 at RUH, Gord passed away so peacefully in the loving arms of his loving wife, Ollie. His son Kim, daughter Deb, grandson Brennon were at his bedside saying their "goodbye's to the most special man in their lives”. Gord leaves 3 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids. All of us will miss miss and need need and love love him forever. Gord retired as Det/Sgt from Sasktoon City P.D. from an amazing career, filled with challenges and humour. Retirement allowed Gord to spend every day with Ollie. They went on many cruises, having so much fun and interesting memories together. Then came reading and good T.V. and just "being". We will miss miss our incredible husband and incredible father. We will never get over the loss, but we will get through it.

A Celebration of Gord's Life will be held at 602 Lynx Wing, 2407 Ave. C, North on April 12th, 2024 starting at 2:00 p.m. At that time, Ollie will welcome all who were friends, police partners and buddies and together we’ll "remember ole Gord”.
