In 1969 a bright- eyed eager rookie teacher named Donna Fisher came to Bishop Klein School with Jim Willlick as principal and me as vice principal. Our paths crossed again in the late 70's when she was posted as vice principal to St. Mary's School where I was principal. And yet again in the early 1980's she was sent to St Mark School as vice principal. After one year in this role Donna became a principal. Donna taught all the grades K-8 as was one of the finest teachers and administrators I have ever worked with. She was particularly effective at dealing with students with behavioral issues. Yet Donna also had a positive and fun-loving side, evident in staff parties and social gatherings.
Glorianne and I extend our deepest condolences to the family. Donna will be missed.
