Obituary of Neil Edward Jacobs

1953 - 2024

The family sadly announces the passing of Neil Edward Jacobs on March 6, 2024 in Saskatoon, SK. He is survived by his girls as he so often called us. 

Neil was born January, 1953 in the Shellbrook district. As a young man Neil enjoyed sports and was a very talented hockey player. 

After high school Neil pursued a career in Sales and was most proud of his career at the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. 

Neil married Delorie, in 1985 in Saskatoon, SK where they bought their family home and raised their two daughters, Brea and Kirsten. His daughters always meant the world to him, and he often spoke about how proud he was of them. For years Neil and Delorie often dreamed of owning their own cabin and in 2000 they made that dream a reality and built a cabin. Neil loved the lake and spent every moment he could there, sledding, boating and enjoying nature. 

Neil will be dearly missed and always remembered and cherished.
