Obituary of Pauline Bodnarek

Pauline Bodnarek

(January 1, 1929 – March 2, 2024)

Pauline passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital on March 2, 2024. 

She was predeceased by her husband John and daughter Audrey Wasyluk. 

She will be remembered by her daughter Angie (Ron Klein), Audrey’s husband Walter Wasyluk, grandchildren Brad Klein (Tonja), Kerri Klein (Michael Rak), Jeffrey Klein (Karen), Michael Wasyluk (Caitlyn), 12 great grandchildren and many loving relatives, in-laws and friends. 

Pauline was a wonderful cook and everyone enjoyed the delicious Ukrainian meals she prepared for family gatherings in Yorkton.  She moved from Yorkton about 15 years ago to the Ilarion Residence and enjoyed her time living there.  She loved doing puzzles and did a lot of knitting and crocheting.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She always had a treat for them and a goody bag to take home.  She will be missed very much by everyone and her love and kindness will be remembered in our hearts forever. 

A private family service was held at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
