Obituary of Marry Nyssen

NYSSEN, Marry “Margje” (nee Hoogendoorn)
October 13, 1933 – February 13, 2024

With heartfelt love and sadness, we share the passing of Margje Nyssen. She was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Margje met John Nyssen, the love of her life, at 12 years old and married him in 1955. In April 1957, they immigrated to Saskatoon, Canada. She devoted her life to her husband and family. They raised 4 children and later she was gifted with 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Margje was predeceased by her husband, Dr. John (February 12, 2019); and daughter, Brenda Nett (July 22, 2023).

Mom will be greatly missed. Grandchildren were especially dear to her. She loved doting on people and pets. She always had a treat and a story to share with everybody that entered her house or cabin.
