I was so sorry to read yesterday, Ron, that your Mom has died. I lived in Saskatoon only for a few years in the 1970's but, on my first visit to Nutana Park Mennonite Church, I got to know Agnes. I had just returned from a year in Germany, and she immediately asked me if I wanted to teach German School Saturday mornings. So I became her assistant. My favourite memories revolve around Christmas time, making the Zuckerhaus at her home and helping with the children's Christmas program.
Agnes also supported me when we had issues with church membership.
I always looked forward to her Christmas cards filled with news about her family and all her activities. She was always so positive in spite of sorrow and so obviously loved her family.
I will miss hearing from her, and extend my sympathy to you and all the family.

So very sorry for your loss! Your Dear mom was a big part of our early years at Nutana Park with Sunday School, German School and choir! Always so kind and generous of her time!
It doesn’t matter how old we are when we lose a family member, it’s never easy! ❤️

Sorry for your loss. Ag was a wonderful neighbour growing up. We will treasure the memories of our visits with her especially in the last few years. We were always welcome to come for a visit with Ag and Ron when we came into Saskatoon. Was great sharing memories and tapping into her knowledge of the history of the Koops and Daniels. She will be forever missed!!

I only had the privilege of playing tennis with Agnes for a brief period. I remember her as a pleasant and positive person. I send my heartfelt condolences to all of her loved ones.

Dear Family,
Warmest thoughts to you in this time of ending/beginning. Your family has helped me through difficult passages of my own, and I'll always remember Ag's tenderness. Larraine sends you her love with mine. “Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.” (Rossiter W. Raymond)
