I just learned of Burna’s passing today. I knew Burna well. My three children had her for a much beloved but highly respected principal at Woodlands school. I had the privilege of teaching for her for two years at this very same school. Burna was a firm but fair administrator. If you were teaching for her, you knew your every thought should be child centered. She demanded a lot but never more than she herself was willing to give. I learned a great deal from this wonderful lady and only wish I had had the opportunity to thank her.
